Help Regarding 2011 NFL Draft Picks (unsigned/signed)?

I have a question. I graduated FSU a few years ago, so of course I bleed garnet & gold. In saying that, I obviously want a Christian Ponder Vikings Jersey. I am aware that when the players are drafted they have an advanced sell in the NFL shop, and the jersey ships once the player signs with the team and their # is issued. I have purchased jerseys like this for the last few years, and I usually receive mine in may. I have noticed I have still yet to receive my jersey, and that is because ponder is still unsigned. This confuses me that how is Gabbert, AJ Patterson, etc signed, but ponder is not. Will he have to wait now until the lockout is over?
