Wireless Network Adapter?

I just reformatted my laptop and everything was successful... Except when I try to connect to Wi-Fi, it says that there is no Wireless Network Adapter. however when I go into the device manager, it shows that I have "Generic Marvell Yukon Chipset based Ethernet Controller" installed as my Network adapter. I have no idea why it won't work or how to fix it. Please help!
