In Northern Canada, do food prices rise during the thaw of the MacKenzie River?

I live in the Yukon and no the prices don't go up because first thing, the trucks don't cross the Yukon River and if they do it's over the bridges that we have. And Ferries don't run in the rivers only oceans so we don't have to worry about that. There is more than one route into these places, well there is at least one major highway and it doesn't cross any bodies of water except on the bridges.
